Frequently Asked Questions:
1. There are lots of scammers on the Internet, especially in the area of sexuality, how do I know you and your products are the real thing, as you contend?
A: Your confidence should be boosted because I am an award-winning psychologist, practicing couple and sex therapy for over thirty years. I am also board certified in my field by three part exam. What’s more, I am a senior psychologist on the staff of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Einstein College of Medicine. Further, for twenty years I supervised the Sexuality Center at Long Island-Jewish Medical Center.
2. Exactly what kind of experience do you bring to the sex content of your books?
A. At the Sexuality Center I probably treated more sexual issues in one year than the typical psychologist sees in a lifetime. After twenty years, I bring not only clinical experience but the wisdom that only comes from sharing thoughts and treatment techniques with the team of experts I worked with at the Sexuality Center. What’s more, I have written nearly twenty books on love and sex that were deemed credible enough to be published by major houses e.g., Simon & Schuster, McGraw-Hill, and Adams Media.
3. If I have a question after reading one of your books may I contact you directly?
A. Yes, using email. I do my best to answer emails, but please understand I am still in clinical practice and still writing, so I can’t promise a response. When I do respond, it’s not the same as the personalized response that occurs in a treatment setting, by necessity it is likely to be more general.
4. Are you planning to do e-books on other sexual subjects?
A. Absolutely. If I get a decent response to these books, I plan to do another four e-books each year for several years. I have lots of exciting (and practical, step-by-step) book ideas in mind. If you have an idea you’d like me to consider, drop me a line.
5. Are you available for private consultations?
A. Yes, I prefer in person, (NY) but selectively I am going to make myself available for phone sessions. Contact me by email for details.
6. You’re writing about sex, what about love?
A. I have several e-books that I plan to launch on lasting love. Relationship failure is beyond epidemic proportion and I have some exciting ideas, like The 15 Minute Relationship Fix and Cracking the Love Code to address love issues powerfully.
